Historic roof structures in Switzerland
Information
The course begins with two introductory lectures on the topic in the classroom. In the following weeks, the groups work on a specific case study in the Fischingen Monastery.
Three full days on-site at the object and a meeting at the institute (HIT H43) with the tutor must be taken into account when working on the subject.
The course can be booked in the course catalog as a one-semester module, but the number of participants is limited to 40. Each booking obliges students to attend all compulsory dates throughout the semester.

Lecture II (Construction details of the roofs)
Date 1 (9.00 - 17.00): Friday, October 2nd
- Visiting the roofs together: Introduction in hand measuring and drawing
- Independent group work the rest of the day
